My Whereabouts

Work and life have been getting the best of me. It's been awhile. Since my last post, Chelsea is back in the top 3, Dallas is 11-1, and Memphis is #2 in the nation. And more important, i met a very interesting woman. I believe we will see more of each other in the upcoming months!!!!

Tonight

There have been moments in my life that really tell me how certain people see me. Tonight was one those moments. I was treated like i was a thief and a dog. The part that upsets me the most is the fact that I was a gentlemen the entire time. Instead it was the cue for certain people to past judgment without getting to know me. To those who past judgment tonight - GO F*CK yourself, you prejudice wack jobs!!!!

I was hoping that Chelsea had turn the corner with all the drama from last year. But apparently that was not case and things were really that bad after the tie with Rosenborg. I still remember when Jimmy Johnson left the Cowboys after his much publicized falling out with Jerry Jones. The Cowboys have yet to regain their dominance since then. I can't help to notice that history seems to be repeating itself. I feel like pulling a Charlton Heston and scream "You Maniacs! You blew it up! Ah, damn you! God damn you all to hell! "

The Traveling Man

I've been everywhere, man, well not quite everywhere. Just been catching up with some long time friends and family. To do this requires putting some frequent flyer miles in!!!! I still have a few more stops before the summer is out.

Cold Turkey

I have resorted to cold turkey to get over my latest setback. I need to resist the urge to keep in touch because this will just end badly for me.

A Moment of ????

From time to time on my job, I will see something that will have me scratching my head in amazement. While during a youth basketball game, a parent took a cell phone picture of her injured daughter on a stretcher with a neck brace and a backboard.

Still haven't learn yet

I thought i found someone, but instead my eagerness to impress got me burned again. At least this time, I picked up the signs early and gained some self-respect before things got worse.

Frustration

I feel so frustrated and powerless right now. Beside the foolishness that I have to deal with at work. I just learned that my parents home's is in the flood path of a potential flood if the Wolf Creek Dam fails. WTF is with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Can they build something that can last. My parents worked hard for their retirement home. God bless my mom, She feels that if it going to happen, it going to happen. She is not living in any fear. They are preparing to store all their valuable in the attic. Here's the kicker, they had to buy floor insurance from FEMA. What the hell is FEMA selling flood insurance. FEMA's ears are still ringing after Katrina. All I can do right now, is to be ready to head home and help my parents if the dam starts failing.

Happy Birthday to me!!! 32 years old today. If i had any fore thought, I would have taken the day. Instead of going to work.

History in the Making

Even though my Cowboys were playing. I was pulling for Dungy and Smith to get their respective teams to Miami. Not one but two head black head coaches are in the Super Bowl!!!!! It was long over due. Especially for Dungy who has come so close so many times with TB and Indy. Now, if i just find a ticket to Miami.

Happy New Year - except Romo

I was starting to believe the Cowboys were going to win, but oh no, Romo managed to prove me wrong. Over the last three games this man can not hold a football to save his life. At least, I can take comfort that Chelsea won in their FA Cup tie.
