Back To The Fold

Back from my brother's wedding. I can't recall the last time I had both sides of my parents' families together for a joyous occasion. Spending my last day off catching up with work and personal matters. Trying to sort out what needs my immediate attention and what can wait.

Hurricane Irene

Besides power going out in the middle of the night. It was a pretty uneventful night. I can't say the same for the rest of the east coast.

Tired As Hell

Friday night, i was called into work to help the Hurricane Irene evacuees. I finally got home around 2 am in morning. I'm exhausted!!!!

Finally

It has taken me eight years, finally I'm officially in the black again!!!

Full Circle

I have come to the realization that my career has come full circle. It started there and now it is reborn in Boston.

Beantown

Almost finished packing for my trip to Beantown. I need to check to see if the Sox are in town.

Comic Book Movies

Marvel has put out two solid movies with Thor and X-Men: First Class. Both movies are must see. Marvel will definitely go for the treble with Captain America. Haven't seen Green Lantern yet. With the exception of Peter David's, the reviews have not been kind. Still won't stop me for seeing it.

The End Is Near????

All my hard work is starting to pay off. Next month I will be heading to Boston to take part in a long over due and much wanted conference. I start to wonder after six years in my current position has it been worth it. I can not help to take stock of all the sacrifices that has cost me precious time with my family, friends and a former love.

Jury Duty

I just spent three weeks on a jury in a lawsuit vs. Merck. I met some interesting people that i wouldn't normally meet in other circumstances. It's an experience that I enjoyed and have a new found respect for our legal process. I'm just now realizing how far reaching our decision is having in other cases vs. Merck.

36 years old today

I turned 36 yrs old today. Hooray!!!! Need to celebrate in a major way this weekend.

A Good Laugh

Can you remember the last time you had a good laugh? When I mean a "good laugh", a laugh that hurts so much. I heard a good story involving a toilet and saran warp. It was a good story and one that i hope, i don't forget.

Frustrated

Frustrated like hell right now. Didn't get the job. My laptop hard drive crashed and the drive's data was lost. Not looking forward to another year the current job. But after listening to the personal accounts of people who are out work on NPR. I really don't have much room to complain.

Chelsea is on top again, havin a laugh!!!

 

Despite crashing out the Champions League, the season was not a complete lost. Chelsea won the title on the last day and now go for the Double with the FA Cup. Two of Three titles is not bad.

Turned 35 on Sunday. My birthday plans were put on hold due to the unexpected snowstorm. At least it gave me the time to start my plans to close a chapter in my life.

Bye Summer 2009!

Another summer in the books. When I was not dealing with work, I had good time. Just not looking forward to the fall and what awaits me! Just need to plant my feet!
