Happy New Year - except Romo

I was starting to believe the Cowboys were going to win, but oh no, Romo managed to prove me wrong. Over the last three games this man can not hold a football to save his life. At least, I can take comfort that Chelsea won in their FA Cup tie.

Thoughts on the FIFA Club World Cup

As I'm watching the fifth place game between Auckland City vs. Jeobunk Motors. Auckland City is representing the OFC well. They have some good shots on goal, they just can't finish. Despite the concern that the OFC would be weak after the departure of Australia, Auckland is justifying their place at the tournament. I really did not like the idea of having them play in a playoff against the J-League champ to gain entry to quarterfinals. They earned the right but FIFA wants butts in the seats and having a host team would do it. They are considering adding 8 teams to tournanment next year. Like the World Cup, the host would gain a place, but does that mean the champion of this year tournament comes back to defend their title. I am curious to see where this is going????

Shevchenko??????

Chelsea is three points behind ManU. They are looking good. There are talks that Shevchenko will be shown the door at January transfer window. Rumors are flying on the reason on why Shevchenko might be transfered. Am I the only one who thinks, Chelsea should at least give this guy a year at the least before send him packing. He just joined the team.

Loses for everyone

Cowboys, Chelsea, DC United and Memphis all bit the dust last weekend. Work has been taking most of my time but i managed to watch most the games. Novak really screwed the pooch against New England. What can I say about the Cowboys. Does anyone on that team know how to block on a field goal!

On a good note, I voted yesterday.

We made ESPN Bottom 10!!!

After three straight bowl games, we overdue for a bad season. ESPN listed the 10 worst college football teams each week. Look who made the list. I hoping we finish the season 5-6.

Physician heal thyself

I went today for an MRI for my nagging right shoulder. I didn't realize how confined a MRI machine really is. For a second, I almost freaked out how tight it was inside there. I felt like I was in a coffin. I got through it with flying colors, but the things you have to put up with to get healthy.

Maybe it's the shot and the three Corona's, I had tonight. But as much of a front I put up. I finally realize that loneliness is finally catching up in with me. As much I hate to say this, maybe I'm destined to be alone.

My nutty neighbors

I thought I found the perfect apartment. It was 15 minutes from where I worked and close to grocery stores and restaurants. What I didn't know, I had moved above the very definition of a "bad relationship" This bad relationship is definitely out of convieniece. Clearly neither party has the courage to leave the other person. The fights are sporadic and loud. Doors are slamming and "Bitch", "Whore" and "Asshole" are peppered in every sentence during their fights. My nutty neighbors fights have spilled out their apartment and have been a public scene for the entire complex to see. The cops have been called to quell their disputes but that has not stopped to them continuing fighting. I have managed to keep my wits and not allow their mess bring me down. But there is coming a time where I can no longer be blissfully ignorant about this bad relationship. My ignorance is coming to end and very quickly.

Thinking Outside of the Box

I always believe that I was "Thinking outside of the box" when it came to my work. Ever once in awhile, someone will come along and force me to rethink how I view my thinking. I had a moment at work, where someone opened my eyes to something that was so obvious that it was staring me right in the face.

Problems!!!!!

Chelsea FC lost today. I need a date in the worst kind of way. I need to go on a vacation before I go back to work. Other problems I don't feel like mentioning right now.

Have had much time to blog. I have a lot of trials and tribulations before me. I'm rising to the challenge.

Running again!!!!

1. Just ran my first track meet (800 meters) in two years. I was in better shape than I thought I was. It felt really good, but I am dog tired. I need some sleep.

My rant

I am on rant today. I really hate people who have nothing better to do with themselves but love to f**k with you. I am the type person, who goes about their business and let's everyone do their own thing. I don't bother you and you don't bother me.

Two Years Later

I felt inspired by the DC theme "One Year Later". The last two years have flown by. I don't feel like being sappy by recaping the last two years. I just know that I've come a long way and still have a way to go. I have no regrets on how everything has turned out. Nevertheless, it's going to be fun ride whether this leads to!!!

I still can't believe it. I really thought France was going to win. All I want to know is what did Marco Materazzi say to Zidane. I saw a replay on YouTube and it's pretty clear that Materazzi said something. Zidane doesn't look like the type of player to fly off the handle during a critical match with out provocation.
